The Rotax Max Challenge Portugal continued this weekend at the Kartódromo Internacional de Braga, on the third double day with two intense days of races. The Maia driver started the Friday of official free practice with some difficulties felt in the engine but ended the day riding among the fastest drivers. On the first day of the double journey, Rodrigo secured second place in timed training at the controls of the KART Republic chassis. On Saturday's Final 1, played in 12 laps, Rodrigo was the 3rd to cut the finish line, but went down to 4th place due to a penalty for partial departure of the starting runners. In Final 2, after an intense fight for victory and several changes of position, Seabra was the author of the fastest lap of the race and won in P1 the Final 2, thus guaranteeing the classification of P2 to the general on the first day of races in the Micro category -Max. On Sunday, Piloto da Maia again secured a front place on the starting grid with the timed runners-up in second place. In Final 1, the pilot engaged in a fierce fight for victory, resisting the strong pressure of his two direct opponents, achieving an exciting P2, rolling many times in the first place. In Final 2, he returned to watching one of the best races of the weekend. Rodrigo Seabra led the race and discussed the victory until the last lap. Throughout the course, the exciting fight and exchange of positions was constant with his opponents, guaranteeing a third place on the podium. The driver follows and adds points to reach the leadership of the rotax max challenge Portugal - “I am very happy with my results and with the work of my team, Cabo do Mundo Kart Team. The winner of the Rotax Max Challenge Portugal is qualified for the World Finals Rotax, which will be played at the Kartódromo Internacional do Algarve (KIA), in Portimão, between 23 and 30 January 2021.
